Since 2008 Kevin Mullins has been shooting a style of wedding photography widely known as “wedding photojournalism” or “documentary wedding photography”. This full day workshop will focus on shooting style, observation skills, gear and post processing.
Kevin became one of the first Fujifilm official X-Photographers in the UK and has been shooting exclusively with the X-Series of cameras for three years. Although, of course, this workshop is open to photographers who shoot with any system.
Kevin has given workshops right across the globe, from Argentina, USA and Japan. Recently, his work was exhibited at Fujifilm’s Headquarters in Tokyo Square.
This masterclass workshop is aimed at photographers who want to explore the Wedding Photojournalism style of shooting. It’s also beneficial for photographers who want to hone their skills for the part of their day that they shoot candidly at the wedding. In additional to exploring Kevin’s wedding work, we will look at the way Kevin shoots social documentaries and the relationship between Street Photography and candid wedding photography.
This event is run with the support of Bank of Ireland in their role as sponsor of the Irish Professional Photographers Association.
